Santa Cruz de la Palma is a municipality and capital of the island of La Palma located in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with an area of 43.38 km2 and 15,361 inhabitants. It borders Puntallana and Breña Alta. The port of Santa Cruz de la Palma (the only one on the island) and tourism are the main economic sources.
